Our Story
We have been best friends since 1981. Both of us are avid readers, and our idea of the perfect vacation is to find a beautiful location where we can do some hiking and shopping in the morning, and then retire to the lounge (with a view and/or a fireplace) for an afternoon of reading. We are Human Resource professionals, and know first-hand the importance and power of literacy. Our love of books inspired us to open a nonprofit used book store. Although we started with a retail used book store, we now also serve many other groups by redistributing the books we can't sell in the store.
The Book Bag is more than just a used book store.
